Well wise ass, I don't know any linux users. There just aren't then many

stupid people I know or care to know.

Frank

Oh, you might try installing linux yourself since you're out preaching

it's benefits.

Talk about insults and bluster !

I didn't insult you, yet you call me a wise ass.

If you want to go to the ubuntu forums and count converts...be my guest.

The number will need to be around 1,000,000 to even approach 1% of Vista

users.

You obviously do, being as you reply to almost every post about Ubuntu.

Insults and bluster. Ho hum.

But why wait?

Ubuntu has been out for ages and the applications are the same if you have

been keeping your system up to date.

What difference is waiting going to make other than to have some flashy

graphics to amuse you for 30 seconds or so?

You still don't mention that you still need windows when you advise them to

delete their windows.

Why do you assume its fine for them to delete windows and lose the ability

to run lots of programs when you do not want to lose this ability?

You don't have to convert linux users.. most of them already have and use

windows.

Even you have and use windows.

How you can claim to convert others to linux when you can't convert yourself

is a mystery.

My waiting has nothing to do with Ubuntu or what is has had in the past,

present or future. I posted why. Please try to keep up.

No, the Vista Virus. I recommend dual booting with XP if they are gamers

or need to use a particular Windows-only program.

Please try to keep up..

you already have Ubuntu 7.04 and the same applications that you get with

7.10 so why aren't you using Ubuntu like you keep suggesting others do? You

are only going to get a few extra graphics by waiting for 7.10 not new

applications or even bug fixes.

If it is good enough for everyone else you advise why is it not good enough

for you?

What makes you so special that your own advice does not apply?

Please list the problems that stop you using what you recommend so that we

can all understand why?

No you advise them to delete windows, you never actually ask what they have.

If you forget what you have been saying then you can use google to jog your

memory.

You do.. you never advise them that doing as you say will adversely effect

them.

I don't intend to get into an Alias lies thread with you like Frank.. use

Google if you don't believe me that you say these things.

You explained why you were not installing 7.10.. something to do with not

trusting it to work correctly.

You didn't explain why you are not running 7.04 which is just as good as

7.10 once its patched.

List the differences then.

AFAICS there are no difference between the applications if you keep up to

date anyway.

You are the one that claims Ubuntu is perfect for everyone else.. just

Only if you say so when you wrongly advise others to delete windows.
