Guest ojw Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I have XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 Build 2600 according to my system property information. Looking at add/remove program there are some spd2 hotfixes namely KB893803 plussp2 hotfixes/Q329048/Q329115/Q329390/329834. I want to update my version to spd2(full) as sp2 is not displayed on system properties window for software version. When go to MS download of sp2 the web site says "Sp2 is already on my system" and won't allow me to download sp2. It started simple enough as I wanted to get download of dalight savings time fix - but it said you need Sp2 to download it. I also wanted to do security updates. Microsoft autoupdate has listed many fixes I may download - but none of them lists SP2 as being one of the updates. Question how to I get my system properties to display the right software version, and should that currently be spd1 or spd2. Do I have to remove the hotfix programs to be able to download full spd2? I haven't seen same problem listed on the forum that I could tell. Any suggestions? ojw Quote
