Guest AT-DXB Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 My operating system Microsoft Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4. Computer - x86 Family 6 Model 8 stepping 6, A/AT COMPATIBLE 261,424 KB RAM. I am using Etisalat 512 KBPS line. I have ZoneAlarm firewall, Spybot-SD resident, Nortan Antivirus Auto-protect enabled. I have installed 'calling' card s/w on my computer last week and used it succesfully to make calls from my PC to phone couple of times without any issue. But since yesterday, I can't go beyond 'login' screen of the above s/w. As soon as I press 'login' button, after typing user id and password, I am getting the following error msg. 'RTCIn Error - Create Profile Failed 0x80004005'. I tried 'repair' option and uninstall & install. Still getting the same error msg. I took the card to a internet cafe, it is working fine there. That means, this issue is with my computer. I carried out full scan using Nortan Anti-virus and Spybot. No issues Will appreciate if someone shed some light into the above error. Awaiting for a positive response. Quote
