Guest Gayle Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 On my Vista machine which has Admin Approval mode enabled for administrators, the Behavior of UAC prompt is set to Prompt for credentials. I'm using a Domain Administrator account. When accessing the Registry locally, the UAC prompt for credentials, pops up before I can access the Registry. When connecting to the Vista registry remotely from a non-Vista machine, are the same registry keys & values available as the ones accessible when using regedit locally on the Vista machine? Is there a difference in the keys/values accessible when accessing the Registry remotely/locally ,when 'Prompts for credentials' is the behavior of the UAC prompt for administrators? Quote
