VolSnap & VSS err

Hi

PC suddenly shutdown, checking event log it showed VolSnap & VSS err's (8 of

each)

I see on MS kb there is mention of a prob and hotfix for Win Server2003 no

mention of probs in WinXp

Sys is now taking longer to boot to the desktop

There is oodles of free space on C, memory has been tested (1gb, dual), swap

file is win managed, has been defragged.

There are no heat / fan issues, sys is on a UPS, hd's are fine.

Any clues?
