Posted October 18, 200717 yr If a folder in the fileserver \\serername\aaa is made available offline. If the server is offline, I assume the user can continue to write to his/her offline cache copy. What if the server is running and availabe? By by opening a file (an Excel file, for example) and if the user makes changes to the file, will the system update the Client copy or the copy in the network drive first ? Although I know eventually the two copies would be the same after synchroniztation, but can we control whether to update the client copy or the server copy when the server is online?
