Posted October 18, 200717 yr After the last round of upgrades my Vista basic will not get past the start screen before it reboots. I inserted the Vista disk and tried to repair the installation but it could not. It told me to remove any hardware that had been recently installed. nothing had been changed on the system. I then tried to reinstall the OS but it required me to execute from within windows probably because it was an upgrade version. How do I fix this catch 22 ?
