Hello

Windows 2003 R2 Std. SP2

These 3 errors started popping up all the time. Not sure what happened for

these to show up.

Event Type: Error

Event Source: VSS

Event Category: None

Event ID: 7001

Date: 10/17/2007

Time: 7:30:00 AM

User: N/A

Description:

VssAdmin: Unable to create a shadow copy: Either the specified volume was

not found or it is not a local volume.

Command-line: 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\vssadmin.exe Create Shadow /AutoRetry=5

/For=\\?\Volume{770d9e12-6dce-11dc-b0d3-0019b9b51f76}\'.

and the second one:

Event Type: Error

Event Source: VSS

Event Category: None

Event ID: 12298

Date: 10/15/2007

Time: 10:42:14 AM

User: N/A

Description:

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: The I/O writes cannot be held during the

shadow copy creation period on volume C:\. The volume index in the shadow

copy set is 0. Error details: Open[0x00000000], Flush[0x00000000],

Release[0x80042314], OnRun[0x00000000].

and the third..

Event Type: Error

Event Source: VolSnap

Event Category: None

Event ID: 5

Date: 10/16/2007

Time: 9:15:07 AM

User: N/A

Description:

The shadow copy of volume V: could not be created due to insufficient

non-paged memory pool for a bitmap structure.

This last one I think is strange since V is an external drive and I'm not

doing any snapshots to it..

But this error does pop up on other non snapshotted drives as well...

Any ideas?
