dave- Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I need to install SSLEAY32.dll on my Windows 2008 server. How do I do it? I tried to do it by copying the it from my XP system and putting it in the PATH but that did not work. It could not find the dll. I moved it to C:\Windows\System32 and ran regsvr32 filename.dll but it gave me a "failed to load" error message. I have 2 questions: 1) I know it is software from OpenSSL.org but I could not find it there. Where can I get a reliable copy that is compatable with Windows 2008 server? 2) How do I install it? Was I correct in moving it to \Windows\System32 and running regsvr32? TIA dave- Quote
dave- Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 I do not "need" SSLEAY32.dll anymore. I found another way to do what I wanted without that dll. However, I still would like to confirm how to install a dll on Windows 2008. TIA dave- Quote
