When buying my current laptop, I inquired about IIS and was told that I would

need to upgrade to Ultimate to be able to use it. So I began the upgrade,

which first updated my current version, Home Premium, but then I realized

that IIS works just fine on this version. I returned the upgrade to the

store, still technically running Home Premium. But now whenever I turn on my

computer, it displays a message telling me that my product key (which I never

entered) is invalid, and that I should buy/enter a new one.

So my question is, is there any way to make this message go away?

In addition, when I tried the option to enter a new product key it asked me

to enter the activation key on the bottom of my laptop, but when I did it

told me it was invalid. Help would be much appreciated.
