Posted October 10, 200717 yr We have a windows 2003 x64 enterprise edition server and I installed Service Pack 2 from the windows update site. After the install I rebooted and now the server can't get to Windows update or any other website. I can still remote desktop to the server and i've tried installing IE7 x64 edition but to no avail. DNS is working but when i try to go to a website there is a syn_sent message listed in 'netstat - a' but never a reply. The windows firewall service isn't on and i've run out of things to check. If you have any ideas please let me know.
