Posted October 9, 200717 yr Our printers are set up to print through a Windows 2000 print server using the IP address, so on the client, the printer shows up as: HP_4200 on 123.45.678.910 Is there any way (other than setting up the printer on a TCP/IP port) to tell Windows to NOT display that IP address? We want the printer to stay installed from the server, but we only want the clients to see the printer name HP_4200. Thanks!
