Posted October 7, 200717 yr I was out of the country for three weeks. I used a wide variety of machines in different settings and different countries, all XP, not a single Vista machine in general use. Nor was there a Mac in sight. In fact I do not recall even seeing a Mac available for sale in a store front. Ipods yes, even in Africa. Thinking perhaps Microsoft had issued some fixes to make Vista usable I booted up. Nah. Vista still cannot reliably stream internet media, connect to XP computers and nearly every disk access operation is agonizingly slow. Since I rely on graphics applications I cannot be sure that color calibration is maintained every time an idiot warning box comes up. Gotta boot back to XP so I can actually get some work done. I don't think I will check back in until SP1 or 2.
