I was out of the country for three weeks.

I used a wide variety of machines in different settings and different

countries, all XP, not a single Vista machine in general use.

Nor was there a Mac in sight. In fact I do not recall even seeing a Mac

available for sale in a store front.

Ipods yes, even in Africa.

Thinking perhaps Microsoft had issued some fixes to make Vista usable I

booted up.

Nah.

Vista still cannot reliably stream internet media, connect to XP computers

and nearly every disk access operation is agonizingly slow. Since I rely on

graphics applications I cannot be sure that color calibration is maintained

every time an idiot warning box comes up.

Gotta boot back to XP so I can actually get some work done.

I don't think I will check back in until SP1 or 2.
