Windows 2003/Sharepoint 2007

Installed all of the requirements as it stated, however when I try to run the

installer for sharepoint 2007 it says i need to :

requires asp.net v2.0 to be set to 'allow' in the list of IIS web server

extensions. if not available in the list, re-install asp.net 2.0

I did install .net framework 3.0, and .net framework 2.0, ran all of the

patches from microsoft update, however for default website properties i can

select between 1.x and 2.x for asp.net version, but i then re-run the

installer same error?

Any ideas?
