Let me know if you still want to "play". I'll even let you post on

Since you were also too lazy to delete the other 200+ lines you

weren't responding to this time, I trimmed them for you since I know

the proper way to post to newsgroups and you clearly do not.

More rants I see.

Get over it. If you can't be civil I'm not going to play your game.

That's so funny. You're the one playing games and when I play better

than you do, you scream foul.

None of you moronic fanboy losers have caught on yet I can make any of

Reading comprehension problems seems to be a constant with you guys. I

didn't say "copied" version, I said "cracked" versions which can most

certainly be copied. With a cracked version, the activation is, well,

cracked and no activation is needed.

Actually, you can use a genuine XP CD if you wait 120 days between the

time you install it on the first computer and when you install it on a

second computer and it will activate on line, no problemo but that's a

different story because one would assume that you bought the first copy.

The problem is the cat and mouse game that MS insists on playing with

its paying customers and I can't see that benefiting MS or the paying

customers at all.

The sale of pirated copies of XP and Office is big business, regardless

of where you live and those who buy these things share them. I did not

And the result is the same, people that don't know end up exposing

pirates and pirates are removed from circulation.

No amazing YOU didn't get it.

Casual Copying is NOT a pirated or cracked copy. It IS someone copying there

CD and giving it to a friend or relative or trying to install it on a second

computer. Get it?

Yes, fine, that is exactly what it is, but there is a good probability

that if they were unable to copy it they would not buy it either. For

example I have a couple of older machines that had 98 on, and a couple

that had W2000 on. They were perfectly usable and the OS suited the

architecture. There is no way though that I would go and pay for a new

OS to put on this old hardware. It would make no difference whatsoever

to Microsoft if I installed W2000 on all of them, or 98 on all of them,

or for that matter XP on all of them. There is no way I would pay for XP

for those machines, I'd run them until they fail or throw them away and

replace, none of these choices makes one iota of difference to

Microsoft's bottom line. For the most part then casual copying is by far

the less significant loss when compared to cracked or pirate copies that

are sold. Technically any might be considered theft, but why go after

grannies with older machines that someone "Helped out" by replacing a

broken W98 for which the install media has failed due to age or been

lost when this "Crime" is insignificant compared to organized gangs?

Worse still, why constantly accuse people who have done NONE of these

things of "Piracy".

Yeah I like that part and the "wait 30 minutes' deal, what is that all

about. Is that like 'time out" for kids...hahaha...lol!
