constant update message

1. Had problem with Intel alert

2. Peter C.A. Hawkins told me how to fix it and it worked

3. Now I get a constant reminder to install the same update, despite the

update record saying that it has been successfully installed

4. tried all sorts, including %systemroot%\KB936181.log check, but this did

not help

5. Can anyone help?
