Cat-tranz Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 (edited) The Aero Glass effect in Windows 7 looks great but on some computers that have underpowered video adaptors users will see a performance drop when running Aero Glass effect. Animations are slow and choppy and moving windows around on your screen is not very smooth. One way to speed up Windows 7 and keep the benefits of Aero, like animations, flip 3D and taskbar thumbnails, is to disable glass transparency > 1. Rgt Click on the desktop and select Personalize. 2. Click Windows Color. 3. Uncheck Enable Transparency. 4. Click Save changes. Click on image to enlarge . Edited February 9, 2014 by AWS Quote
