Shoshy Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Hello all, Is there a way to downgrade from Windows Server 2008 Datacenter to either Standard/Enterprise, without deleting the whole HDD? Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted January 13, 2009 FPCH Admin Posted January 13, 2009 No. You'll have to reinstall. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
pmanse Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Is there any chance you might possibly be wrong about this? I've migrated all my users and set up Exchange 2007 on this box. I used the MSDN download for WS 2008 but didn't realize until it started complaining about activation that I should not have installed it. So, I shot myself in the foot--I know! But is there some MS tech guru out there that can tell me that there's a way? Please? Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted January 16, 2009 FPCH Admin Posted January 16, 2009 Nope. I'm not wrong. I wish there was a way, but, there isn't.. There is no way to downgrade. The only option is to save all your settings and migrate them to the new install. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
