I have been using a new Vista business 64-bit desktop for a month or so. I

use Remote Desktop all the time, mostly to Windows XP x32, 2003 Server x32,

and 2000 Server x32 machines without a hitch.

However, we just installed a new server with Windows 2003 Enterprise x64

(these are all on the same domain, in the same rack, by the way) ... when I

remote desktop to that server from the Vista 64 desktop, remote desktop

performance is abysmal -- so SLOW it is unusable.

I couldn't find anything on the MS site regarding this issue, but the

following link:

http://www.vistax64.com/vista-networking-sharing/79317-fixed-remote-desktop-connection-rdc-slow-no-connection-issue.html

I've been hesitant to try this. Is there an official word on this from

Microsoft?
