Posted September 21, 200717 yr Approximately 3 months ago I transferred several files from my desk top outlook Windows XP 2003 to my lap top outlook VISTA (i.e. outlook contacts outlook calendar) by conventional CD. Well, you are not going to believe this, but I have empty folders of outlook contacts and outlook calendar all over the place in "my documents". They appear out of nowhere at random and I simply cannot delete them no matter what I do. I'll press "delete" they'll disappear for a couple of seconds and then reappear exactly as they were. I have changed their names and their icons - and they just keep on reappearing. According to the security setting under "properties" attached to these empty folders: the system, the administrator and I have full and complete control to do whatever to those folders. I have many such unexplained events to share with you about this wonderful VISTA ops system... this is the one that freaks me out the most. Can anyone share a suggestion on how to kill these folders?
