Guest Intune_Support_Team Posted August 13 Posted August 13 We recently identified an issue where newly added apps aren’t targeted automatically in Microsoft Intune app protection policies (APP) when the policy is targeted to app groups such as "All Apps" or "All Microsoft Apps". While we’re working on a fix, we recommend updating existing policies that target app groups to ensure all apps within an app group are included and receive APP. [HEADING=2]Workaround [/HEADING] Use the steps below to ensure all apps within the app groups are correctly targeted for policy: Navigate to Microsoft Intune admin center > Apps > App protection policies. Select the policy that targets the app group “All apps” or “All Microsoft Apps”. In the Intune App Protection pane, select Properties. Under Apps, select Edit. Change the targeted app group. For example, if the policy was targeted to "All apps", change it to "All Microsoft Apps" and vice versa. Click Review + create. When you're done, click Save to update the app protection policy. Repeat steps 4-7 by changing the app group in step 5 to the originally targeted app group. While these steps should only take a few minutes and shouldn't disrupt your users, we recommend making the changes outside of your normal business hours and completing both targeting changes in a single session. We’ll continue to update this post as new information becomes available. If you have questions or comments for the Intune team, reply to this post or reach out on X @IntuneSuppTeam.
