i have an old dell laptop c600 that originally had windows xp professional 1 on it. i installed windows xp home edition on it some time ago. the hard disk failed and i got a new one and tried to install windows xp home edition on it and when it gets to the page where i have to enter the product code the product code on the back of the computer for xp professionsl 1 won't work so with out my xp home edition certificate of authencity with the product code on it i can't proceed.
