Posted August 21, 20231 yr This blog is part of a series of Marketplace Rewards announcements to keep you informed of enhancements coming to the program. To keep up to date, watch the Marketplace Rewards tag. At Microsoft, we’re always thinking about how to help you grow your business. To target benefits where and when partners need them most, we’re rolling out some enhancements to Marketplace Rewards! Increasing Azure sponsorship duration and support Partners tell us they overwhelmingly preferred to use Azure sponsorships to offset costs associated with deployments/proofs of concept. To better support you, we’ve made these changes: Partners now qualify for up to $2,000 in Azure sponsorship with sales of just $500, double the previous Azure sponsorship value. For a deployment/proof of concept, every performance tier at $50,000 Marketplace Billed Sales (MBS) Business Applications Solution Value, or 500 Teams Apps Monthly Active Users (MAU) will unlock a greater Azure sponsorship grant this fiscal year. For Azure sponsorship grants greater than $100,000, the duration is increased to six months rather than three months. The updated amounts of Azure sponsorships are in the following table: If you’re interested in Azure sponsorships for testing or development, check out whether your next app development project qualifies for ISV Success build and publish benefits here. Expanding the footprint of Teams Apps partner benefit support Microsoft also widened support to serve more ISVs with Teams Apps ISVs. Earlier this year, we welcomed ISVs with Teams Apps to get matching benefits with partners who had transactable offers if they were engaged in the Build or Publish stage of ISV Success. The addition of the performance-based benefits, coupled with a dedicated Engagement Manager, is extremely popular. Now, Microsoft will grow support to even more ISVs with Teams Apps by removing the requirement to be engaged in ISV Success to build and publish. Opening up the Marketplace Rewards benefits to any ISVs who are enrolled in Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program who have Teams Apps—agnostic of ISV Success enrollment or stage—should boost sales wins and revenue growth for partners in this group. Targeting benefits to the build or grow stage of the app lifecycle With the consolidation of Marketplace Rewards with ISV Success, partners can now access a suite of benefits to use at the appropriate stage. By shifting technical benefits to the beginning of ISV Success (the build and publish stages), Microsoft aims to provide the right support at the right time.
