windows media player 11: problem ripping and playing playlists

after getting a "library corrupted" error window i can no longer get media

info while trying to rip an album cd(even after using "find album info"), and

after ripping cd without media info i can not find it in the "media library"

but under "documents" in the "music" files. also all my old playlists (not

albums) in "media library" do not play or open anymore and can not add music

to them either. but under "documents" in the "music" files those same old

playlists for some reason there properties show them in mp3 format now when

having them open in "windows media player". another thing if i create a new

playlist it also ends up in the "music" files not in "media library". can

someone please help!
