THE Power Platform conference by and for French speakers

Power Platform French Summit is the annual conference for French-speaking Power Platform users which was launched in 2020. Followed by its second edition we featured on our blog last year The Rise of Hybrid Events, we share how the latest conference inspired citizen developers.

 

 

 

Microsoft MVPs and communities co-organized the Power Platform French Summit 2022 #PPFS2022 in November 2022 and delivered the

, 68 sessions, and three Ask the Speakers sessions with 93 speakers. The in-person event attendees visited the Microsoft France conference center, and the online attendees watched the streaming sessions on YouTube Live and/or LinkedIn Live. As a result of the cross-community collaboration of aMS Community, Biz Apps French Community, Club Power BI France, various conference partners, and Microsoft, 2,207 attendees reached the latest information of Power Platform in this event.

 

 

 

Aurélien Clere, a Business Applications MVP in France, is one of the key persons when speaking about this Power Platform French Summit. He has been working with other organizers in his wonderful team since its first edition was launched as a virtual conference in 2020. He says, “It is always a pleasure to organize that with other MVPs of different categories, such as Business Applications, Data Platform, M365 Apps & Services,”

 

 

 

 

He describes its successful physical event part as “a game changer” since they focused more on providing an n-person experience as well as broadcasting for the remote attendees. In terms of the content, this 2-day event provided attendees not only technical information but also business topics. Aurélien says, “The Day 1 (Business day) is really the best adding value of this community event.”

 

 

 

M365 Apps & Services MVP Jeff Angama delivered one of Day 1 sessions,

(Implementation of Low Code at the GSF group). “As a speaker, we spoke for a 30-min business session. The time management was a challenge that we overcome with practice, and we successfully shared two years of experiences of deploying the Power Platform in a French cleaning services company, GSF.”

 

 

 

Jeff took a dual role as a co-organizer and a speaker this time. He shares his first Power Platform French Summit experience, “We just had a BLAST. To me, this is THE French speaker Power Platform event. So much content is provided in just two days. I could meet many passionate speakers and attendees.” And he appreciates of community members and shares a message, “Thank you the community. Knowledge grows together by sharing!”

 

 

 

 

A new year 2023 began, and MVPs are planning new community activities. Jeff will organize the 3rd edition of aMS Sophia Antipolis on French Riviera on February 7 and expects more speaking opportunities in other community events. Aurélien also has a plan to launch the Power Platform French Tour in each South, East, West, and North region.
