We are highlighting the fixed issues that might be important to you, which our Access engineers released in the latest current monthly channel. Special note is we have several issues related to Dataverse fixed, including a proxy issue several customers reported in our blogs last month If you see a bug here that impacts you, and if you are on the current monthly channel build 2208, you should have these fixes. Make sure you are on Access Build # 16.0.15601.20088 or greater. Bug Name Issue Fixed Seek number in DAO for Large Number does not work When using the DAO.Recordset.Seek method on a Large Number column, the Seek method could fail to find a value, even though it is present in the table. This update fixes the Seek method for Large Number columns. Dataverse Connector table import results inconsistent When linking to Dataverse tables, we normally also link related Dataverse tables. In some cases, if related Dataverse tables were selected for a multi-table operation, we would not correctly link all the related tables. Dataverse Connector Proxy Issue: Make change to the way we configure OAdapter client proxy so that we use_default instead of use_auto_discovery option Trying to link/import tables from Dataverse could fail when using some proxy configurations. This update should enable connecting to Dataverse with those proxy configurations. Access 365: Clear cache on close does not clear the cache starting with SAEC Version 2108 We fixed an issue where the clear cache on close option did not delete the cache when the database was closed. Can't export table with Date/Time Extended column to text or Excel When exporting a table with a column of type Date/Time Extended to text or Excel formats, the operation would fail and give an error that the destination document could not be found. This update enables exporting tables with Date/Time Extended columns to text and Excel formats. Please continue to let us know if this is helpful and share any feedback you have. Continue reading...
