In early 2023, the Intune App SDK for iOS will be ending support for Azure Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL) and older versions of the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL). Note: All Microsoft support and development for ADAL, including security fixes ends in December 2022 as announced in Update your applications to use Microsoft Authentication Library and Microsoft Graph API.

We recommend customers using ADAL or older versions of MSAL with the Intune App SDK for iOS apps to update to the latest major MSAL version and a minor version not older than 6 months. For example, as of September 1st, 2022, MSAL version 1.2.0 would be the oldest supported version. You can find the latest MSAL version in the Azure AD GitHub repository: Releases · AzureAD/microsoft-authentication-library-for-objc · GitHub

If your iOS app currently uses ADAL to authenticate users, see Migrate applications to MSAL for iOS and macOS and Migrate applications to the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) for more information on migrating your app from ADAL to MSAL.
