Guest liuyun Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 We are happy to announce that Live Captions are now generally available in Teams on Windows 365! Providing accessibility has been an important priority and top customer request. Now Teams on Windows 365 can detect what's being said and whos saying it with real-time captions. This feature is designed for those who prefer visual cues when engaging with meeting participants and ensures everyone can follow the conversation effectively. For example, with Live Captions, Windows 365 users can View the text spoken by each person displayed by their name. Change the spoken language (28 different languages available). Use Live Captions to keep up with the discussion when there's poor audio quality during a virtual meeting. Refer back to meeting conversations in text format to better understand what is being, or was, said. Getting started with Live Captions To use Live Captions in Teams on Windows 365, see Use live captions in a Teams meeting. It's easy to get started and you won't need to update Teams. Transcripts and Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) features are not available with this release, but will be coming soon. Teams Live Captions is also available on Azure Virtual Desktop. For more information, see the Azure Virtual Desktop Blog. Continue reading... Quote
