Hi,

Our file servers are running Server 2008 R2 and I have an issue with two clients currently. They can access two of our file servers, but the third denies them with the following:

\\server3 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource...

Domain users have read-only NTFS prmission to the shared directory however, when they enter \\server3 into the address bar in Windows Explorer, they get the above message. Any thoughts? Thanks ahead.

Shawn

Please be sure that the DNS settings are correct and that your DNS suffix is there.

Try to ping servername.domain.whatever

Browse the network and see if you can find something.
