Rascal Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 GMail Version 7.5.7.156101332 release Android Version 4.0.4 Yes I know it is old. Is there a way to have GMail app to ask for the password each time I access the email account? Can I make it where is does not save the email account password? Quote
plodr Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 I don't think so. If you're signed in to your mobile device with your Google Account, you're signed in automatically to the Gmail app. Source: Gmail remembers my login email and password - Android - Gmail Help The only way to sign out of the Gmail app is to remove your entire account from your phone or tablet. Rascal Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 Not what I wanted to hear yet there is not much I can do about that. Thank you for the information and help. Quote
plodr Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 I don't use the gmail app. I also never sync anything. (We have 4 computers and 3 android devices and I don't want everything on all the devices). I actually fire up gmail through a browser then we have to enter username (we have 3 accounts) and password. That would be a work around. 1 Quote
Rascal Posted September 7, 2018 Author Posted September 7, 2018 I also never sync anything. I only sync pictures that I take to the cloud off my phone. (We have 4 computers and 3 android devices and I don't want everything on all the devices). Anything I want to share is on the cloud and I can just view it from there. Quote
