I'm running windows 7 & read that i can get a second desktop. I want to be able to separate one from the other like an "A/B switch". Is this possible?

I used two KVM switches for quite some time. One upstairs where I have an old Windows 2K computer and a Win 7 desktop.

I had another setup in the basement for my husband. First he used Win 2k and XP. When I pulled 2K off the internet, he was running XP and Windows 7 on 2 different computers.

KVM stands for Keyboard Video Mouse

You hook the 2 desktop computers up to the KVM switch with the included cables and hook 1 keyboard, 1 mouse and 1 monitor to the switch.

So you really don't want a 2nd desktop computer? What you want is a 2nd operating system on one computer?
