Posted April 27, 201311 yr hi my name is ravi i have a slight issue i am running server 2008 on my ibm machine which has 4 lan ports untill now i had one network through which my network was connected, recently i got a new high speed connection and i am trying to configuring it to the other network card but the server is taking the old network internet even though i have removed the dns and have even set the priority for the other high speed internet * the second line is in 0.1 series and the first one is in 192.168.1.1 series how do i change this ? please help ... the dhcp is off on the other card and i want to share internet exclusively for the server only ..
April 27, 201311 yr Sorry but I'm not sure I understand your problem... Your server is connected to something (I guess a switch) with 2 cables: nic_OLD: 192.168.1.X nic_NEW: 192.168.0.X You want to have both connections but the traffic must go to the second (192.168.0.X) network card.
