I followed the process to get Google back to the homepage instead of Comcast, and as I had Chrome there before.

I could not so I reinstalled Chrome, removed it as my account then finally removed Chrome with Iobit. I then could not open it by clicking on the icon.

I performed a system restore which is in progress.

Any ideas as to what is fioing on with my Win 10 Pro

Your post is confusing. What are you trying to accomplish?

If you want to have Google as your home page, go to that page (www.google.com). Then go to Chrome's settings. That's the three short horizontal lines in the top right of the Chrome page. Click on the three short horizontal lines.

Go to Settings.

Under the On startup section, click on Set pages.

Click on the Use current pages button.

Exit out of Chrome and start it back up. You should be taken to Google's web site.

If you had removed Chrome and want it back, you can download it at https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/

Thank you, putting Google as homepage instead of Comcast worked.
