iphonogasm Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Hi, I am routing between NICs, WAN and LAN My question is, how can I use windows server 2008 firewall as my main firewall. So, if i want to block outbound web traffic, i will just open the server which is my gateway, and add a outbound block rule for port 80 etc. Right now it seems windows firewall is only a firewall for that specific server and not the traffic passing between the two nics! Any ideas? Thanks! Quote

There are some websites where you can find guides and how-to to improve rules and other things but actually they're limitated and anyway don't do what you want. You may want to use Forefront if you want to stay on the Microsoft's world. Quote -------------------------------------------------------- Tu peux aussi crire en franais.
