Hello

I use Macrium Reflect to image my system.

I have two questions;

1-Should one, a- click the recover button on the program to recover an image from the external drive or, b- use the disc to boot into Macrium?

2- I have an o.L. friend who is a system mod and says that RollbackRX is a program that will restore my computer to the time I want to.I think it falls short of an image but is certainly quick. I know you must use their uninstaller and if a big update occurs you must uninstall it. Would you use RollbackRX along side your Imaging program?

Macrium Reflect is all you need.

You need to watch Youtube Tutorials to learn all it's functions.

No, you don't need other software in conjunction with Macrium Reflect.
