Laptop screen zoom changes

I'm on my ASUS Windows7 laptop. I typically use a USB mouse and type on the laptop's keyboard. The screen changes zoom level at times. I'm sure it's something I'm doing with the trackpad and possibly the mouse. After the zoom changes, I can CNTL + or CNTL - to get back to where I want to be.

 

I've just never figured out what I may be doing to cause this. There's some gesture that I'm inadvertently using.

 

Anyone have an idea of what I may be doing?

Hi Tony.

Find the Asus "Smart Gesture", and disable the "pinch to zoom" feature.

I read this fixed the issue for many with same issue.

Didn't find the ASUS Smart Gesture, but did find something in Control Panel > Mouse > Device Settings tab - Synaptics TouchPad V7.5 > Settings

Did you take the tick out of the "Enable Pinch Zoom" box and try it?

Interested if it fixed your zoom problem.

No I didn't un-tick it. I just want to understand what's going on. I like the idea of this gesture. I'll be watching my moves going forward.
