bassfisher6522 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Is the site under some sort of maintenance or server move? For the last 3 days I've been getting the infamous "timed out" message and I cant get onto the site.....me and Dougie are seeing this. If there is some sort of server move/update or server maintenance going on....I suggest a home page for the site to say as much and a email sent out letting everyone know what's going on If this isn't a server update or maintenance issue....then there is a bug and it needs to be fixed. This is a super PITA....to the point it's getting ridiculous and annoying. Quote
FPCH Staff Tony D Posted May 1, 2016 FPCH Staff Posted May 1, 2016 Seeing slow loading here also. Something is wrong. Quote
bassfisher6522 Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 It's literally take 30 or more seconds to load a page on the site.....it's freaking killing me! Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted May 2, 2016 FPCH Admin Posted May 2, 2016 I am seeing no problems on the servers. No errors and everything is green. Can you post a traceroute to the site? It might be something upstream causing problems. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest

FPCH Admin AWS Posted May 2, 2016 FPCH Admin Posted May 2, 2016 With the info from Dougie and Frank I should have the problem fixed. There is a bug in one of the functions of the new skin. You might have do a hard refresh to load the new JS files. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest

bassfisher6522 Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 I knew it was a bug of some kind. Damn...completely forgot about a "refresh" or "hard refresh" ......It's working now. Quote
FPCH Staff Tony D Posted May 2, 2016 FPCH Staff Posted May 2, 2016 It's working well now. I didn't do a reset of any kind. Using Chrome on W7. Quote
Bill M. Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I didn't experience the problem at all. Chrome on W7. Quote

DSTM Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) I just tried 4 other Browsers and right at this moment, all Browsers are very fast.:) In #4 an error was reported. In #5 Bob found a bug in a Skin. Earlier the site would take up to 5-10 minutes to load fully, and often wouldn't load, regardless of what Browser. Even clicking between Forums could take up to 5 minutes. This happened while most in the US was asleep. I wasn't the only one having big problems as I have stated. Others reported virtually the same load times. Hope it is fixed now permanently. Thanks Bob for all your work on the Software during the night. Edited May 2, 2016 by DSTM 1 Quote Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm Schizophrenic, and so am I Free Photo Restoration and Repair for all Forum members - CLICK HERE Please pop back and let us know if your Computer problem has been solved.
