IceMan37 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Good deal on a 480GB SSD. This drive is actually large enough to handle programs and the most frequently played games and music too. One would only need maybe a 1TB standard SATA for backups and images. here is a deal! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211985&cm_re=480gb_ssd-_-20-211-985-_-Product Quote

FPCH Admin AWS Posted March 19, 2016 FPCH Admin Posted March 19, 2016 Since you can never have too many SSD I ordered 2 of these. 1 Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
IceMan37 Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Great Bob! I ordered one of them and used it in an older build where I upgraded an MSI 785GT-E63 mainboard to a X4 965 Phenom, and an HD 7950 I got from ebay. Granted the full speed of the SSD won't be there with the older tech on the mainboard, though the client won't notice it. Still booted up lightning fast and operation was still very quick in real world terms. They were able to play Witcher 3 on a mix of meduim with a few high settings and maintain 30-50 frames per second which was so nice to see on the older platfiorm that it is. Happy Client. Quote
