Yes, I still run Outlook 2007 on my Win 10 Lenovo laptop. A weird setting change occurred that I'm not sure how to fix.

When I'm reading an email, rather than the normal arrow cursor I now have a hand. Left-click the mouse and the hand closes and scrolls through the message. This is worthless. I can no longer highlight text to move/copy it. What setting do I need to change back to have Outlook back to normal? Thanks.

How are you, Stephen? Great to see you here.:D

That's called a "Panning Hand". You should be able to bring the mouse cursor back by pressing the Escape button on your keyboard.

If using the ESC key doesn't turn off the panning hand option completely, see the screenshot below......

panninghand.png The Panning Hand option sits right above the vertical scrollbar on the right side of the message.

When it is enabled, you can scroll through the message without using the scroll bar. You can click the hand icon to turn it off again.

Perfect! It works. Back to normal -- as normal as usual I suppose.
