In terms of what is found and removed..... not much difference.

The Online scanner is just that..... an online scanner (using the latest definitions).

It's not configurable and won't stop you from being infected.

Just think of it as a second opinion.

NOD32 Antivirus Pro is a realtime scanner that is completely configurable and has the advantage of having:

AntiVirus, AntiSpyware, Anti-Phishing, Exploit Blocker etc built in.

There's no advantage in running the Online scanner if you have NOD32 Antivirus Pro installed.

I did have Nod32 but it run out and I didn't renew.

That's why I need to run ESET online scanner when needed.

Does a great job but need to check relevent boxes in advanced first.

Quite slow compared to other scanners, but does the best job.

I use Nod32 and Malwarebytes on each one of my computers.

IMHO, Nod32 is the best of all the anti-virus programs that I have used.

As Pete says, it has the advantage of having AntiVirus, AntiSpyware, Anti-Phishing, Exploit Blocker etc.....
