DSTM Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Pets are an important part of many people's lives and as I love all pets regardless, I thought it would be nice to post as many photos of your pets as you wish. We are proud of our animal companions. This is my pet cat called LUCE. 3 yrs old and never leaves my side except when necessary. Don't know what breed but the longest cat I have ever seen. A great companion. This cat whom I adore is the fastest cat I have ever seen run and clears 7 feet fences without even touching the fence. Amazing athletic cat to watch. I will post more photos of Luce in due course. Here is a Photo I took today to give some idea how long this cat is. 1 Quote Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm Schizophrenic, and so am I Free Photo Restoration and Repair for all Forum members - CLICK HERE Please pop back and let us know if your Computer problem has been solved.

FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted March 2, 2016 FPCH Admin Posted March 2, 2016 Such a beautiful kitty, Dougie. We haven't had any cats for almost ten years. Unfortunately, our German Shepherd, who is a rescue dog, does not like cats. We adopted Jax from a no kill shelter called Save, ten years ago. He is the most loyal and loving dog we have ever had. He also thinks that the grandkids are his puppies. :D 1 Quote ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~
DSTM Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 I love the colour of Jax. They become an important members of the Family. I had two Dogs as a young child and have fond memories. Rachel Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 DSTM, what a beautiful cat. Luce looks very much like a young cat that lives across the street from me...colour and markings. He is very slim and very fast...and intelligent! AllHeart, Jax is very handsome. German Shepherds are wonderful. 2 Quote
Rachel Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Sophie. Adopted from a local animal shelter. She is guessed to be about 8 years old...I have just had her for 2 years. She is a longhaired miniature dapple dachshund with the sweetest nature ever. So glad I found her. 2 Quote
FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted April 13, 2016 FPCH Admin Posted April 13, 2016 She's beautiful! I've found that rescue animals make the best friends. We adopted Jax from a shelter when he was a year old. He had been abused and had a cast on his rear leg from being beaten. Rachel Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Jax is gorgeous! Thank goodness you found him. I agree about rescue animals. My niece and nephew's dogs have mainly been those that have been "dumped"....I should add....also cats that have been discarded... 2 Quote
N3 Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I have many "Pet Peeves". Never needs feeding, water or a vet. Quote
FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted May 16, 2016 FPCH Admin Posted May 16, 2016 These pictures are all over thirty years old and a couple of them were taken with an old polaroid camera so they aren't in the best condition. All of our Shepherds loved cats. The exception to that is Jax, our current Shepherd. 1 Quote ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~

FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted May 16, 2016 FPCH Admin Posted May 16, 2016 I must be losing my mind or I can't subtract. :ouch: Of course it was 14 years. It's never long enough. FPCH Staff PseFrank Posted May 16, 2016 FPCH Staff Posted May 16, 2016 This young lady is named Claudia. She lived with me for 22 years. Each night when I went to bed, she would snuggle down beside me. If I became... er, restless, she would jump down. But when I woke in the morning, she was always right there by my side. This young mans name is Joey. Named after the Isle of Man TT racer Joey Dunlop Sinead is Joey's sister. It was hard to tell them apart. She's seen here sunning herself on Claudies memorial stone. 2 Quote Says Don't wait until your computer goes bang. Back up your files now!
