Hi

I have a Dell XPS 8300 and just noticed that it has hyper threading. I have been in the old BIOS but everytime I click on a tab and look around then try to get to another tab without having to reboot, I end up rebooting.

So, should I use the hyper threading enabled and how do I do so.

Could you please help me with the tab issue?

Thank you

Peter

I'm not sure exactly what is happening when you are in the BIOS, Peter.

You shouldn't have to reboot unless you select F10 to save any changes that you have made.

If you want to enable hyper threading, this is a video that explains how to do it.

You should be able to move freely from one tab to the next.

The only time you should need to reboot is if you select the F10 key to save changes.

There is something wrong if you cannot do that.

I found the problem. My esc key is fickle and you have to tap it a few of times for it to allow you to see other tabs. It never does the same thing twice.

Dell - oh boy!!
