mikehende Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Hey guys, lately I have been getting scripting prompts when visiting this site which I frequently subscribe to: http://www.doityourself.com/forum/ and whenever that happens it greatly slows down my pc, seems like just having that site open locks down my pc, what's the best way I can handle this problem please? FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted October 26, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted October 26, 2015 When this happens, it's usually a problem with the site itself, Mike. You can try this...... Open Internet Explorer. Click the Tools menu, and then select Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab and select Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes. Clear the Display a notification about every script error check box, and then click OK. mikehende Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 I use only FF for browsing, I am not seeing those options, I found this on the net, would this be a better fix for FF? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script Quote
FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted October 26, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted October 26, 2015 That seems like it may work, Mike. Quote ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~
