Steve08 Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Recently various scheduled tasks have been failing with 0x41306 - the only solutions I can find online try to get me to download an run a program called ReimageRepair.exe, which I am somewhat reluctant to do, or to use Windows restore to recent a previous system backup point. see here Before attempting the latter, which I am also somewhat wary of doing, wondering if anyone has experience or knowledge of this reimagerepair utility, or any better recommendations? Thanks... Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted July 26, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted July 26, 2015 I have no experience with reimagerepair. I have seen that error a few times. I have tasks that move files from one drive to another or copy files from the servers to NAS. If a task is running to copy files and hasn't finished and the next task starts the first one will stop with that error. In this case I changed the start times for the tasks and made sure I selected end previous task if it is running. I also saw the same error shortly before I had a hard drive fail while the task was copying files off the drive. As far as system restore goes I have used it many times to fix various issues and never had a bad experience with it. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
Steve08 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 The task creates files (graphs as images) then copies them to various locations, and can be a little time-consuming. I'll experiment with giving it more time. Thanks for replying. Quote

Steve08 Posted April 25, 2017 Author Posted April 25, 2017 Two things: If AWS Free PC Help Forum Owner is reading this: my name is appearing in this thread as the poster - and also in the one above about FTP ports. ???? And re the actual post: can the application that the task is calling be re-coded to ensure it is a single-instance only app? ie that it only allows one instance to be run simultaneously? That's how I sorted a similar issue out. cheers Quote
