Took this shot of the moon in the middle of the night through heavy fog with my CanoN SX50HS.

Amazing the fog didn't show in the photograph. About 125 Zoom.

I notice a huge crater at the bottom at about 7 O'Clock.. Must have been some huge impact.

Played around with settings the previous night to see what would happen.

This is the result. I quite like the Blue hue.

I also find it fascinating that we get a slightly different view of it depending on where we are in the world, as DSTM is in Australia and therefore the southern hemisphere, I am in the UK and in the northern hemisphere. I have the same camera and took this shot either the same day or the day after. The crater I have pointed out with the arrow, is in a different place on DSTM's shot.
