FPCH Admin AWS Posted June 20, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted June 20, 2015 I haven't used the new Spartan browser that much while running Windows 10 on my laptop. Last night I did the upgrade to my main box which ran Windows 8.1. I opened up Spartan and started to browse to a few sites. I then wanted to go the my home page. I looked everywhere and didn't see a home button and no setting to switch it on. How can Microsoft forget to add a basic feature of any browser? Is this another one of those stupid Microsoft feelings on features that they think users don't want or need so they remove them? Sort of like what they did when they removed the start menu. While I like Spartan I will not use it without the home button. I use the home button a lot and as my quick Google search on the missing button turned up I am not alone in this. FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted June 20, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted June 20, 2015 I created a Home tab on the Favorites bar. Of course that will only work for those that use the Bar. Microsoft blew this one, big time. 1 Quote ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~
DSTM Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 The more I read about Windows 10 it's going to be one big anti climax. FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted June 21, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted June 21, 2015 I really like Windows 10 so far. I detested Windows 8 when it was first released but have gotten used to it. I'm really looking forward to the release of 10.
