Instapaper for iPhone and iPad has been updated with support for notes, letting you add comments to your highlights, and share them with your friends.

An addition to their highlighting feature, Instapaper's notes feature lets you quickly and easily add a note to highlighted text. Create a note by highlighting some text and tapping the "+" button on the pop-up toolbar. Write your note, then save it.

All of your notes and highlights can now be found in the Notes section on Instapaper's sidebar, and can be shared with a Twitter shot, or through any service on the iOS share sheet. Notes can be access and created on the iPhone, iPad, and the web.

Check out the list below for all of the changes in Instapaper 6.4:

  • Add your own comments to highlights or article text

  • Easily share your Notes to other services

  • Access your notes across all synced devices and on web at www.instapaper.com

  • You can now save TweetShot images directly to your camera roll

  • Increased maximum size of TweetShot images

  • Fixed issue in save extension that caused Instapaper to not show in some cases

  • Fixed issue with changing sender email address on iPad

  • Additional minor bug fixes

You can download Instapaper 6.4 from the App Store right now.
