Posted June 5, 20159 yr comment_853621 You can get a guided tour of Apple's Cupertino headquarters if you are the highest bidder in a new charity auction. Earlier this year, CharityBuzz raised over $200,000 for charity with its auction of a lunch with Apple CEO Tim Cook. Now the same site is running another auction, with the highest bidder getting a guided tour of Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California. The tour will be handled by Apple's Vice President of Education, John Couch. The money for the winning bid will go towards funding for the Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Petaluma, California. Bidding for the Apple tour will end on June 18 at noon Pacific time (3 p.m. Eastern time). If you do happen to win the tour, be advised that Apple will not provide travel or accommodations for this event. The tour is limited to two adults, but if a family is involved, up to three children may also take the tour as well. Naturally, the winner and his or her guest will have to get a security screening beforehand. Source: CharityBuzz Continue reading...
