Posted June 4, 20159 yr comment_853597 Despite recent setbacks with their smartphone keyboard, Typo marches on, releasing their keyboard for the iPad Air and iPad Air 2. While they will be discontinuing their smartphone keyboard, Typo has soldiered on, releasing their new keyboard for the iPad Air and iPad Air 2. The Typo for iPad features a built-in adjustable stand, and comes in at 5.5mm thick. In addition to the stand, the Typo features full-sized keys in an effort to simulate the laptop typing experience. The Typo also has its own autocorrect functionality for common contraction and capitalize the first word of a new sentence. The case's stand features a proprietary hinge that allows it to stand at any angle between 10 and 90 degrees, and you can disconnect the case portion from the keyboard in order use the Typo as you choose. The Typo for iPad Air and iPad Air 2 is available now from Typo's website for $189. It will be available in some Apple Retail Stores and in Apple's Online Store later this month We'll follow up with a review once we spend some time with the Typo - in the meantime, you can see a quick hands on below: A video posted by Kevin Michaluk (@kevinmichaluk) on Jun 2, 2015 at 8:57am PDT Grab the Typo for iPad Air and iPad Air 2 right here Continue reading...
