Microsoft wants to support the development of more apps for the iPhone and iPad. Today, the company launched a dedicated iOS app designed to allow quick access to Channel 9, Microsoft's developer-focused website with lots of tutorials and videos on how to create applications.

The iOS Channel 9 app launch would seem to be yet another part of Microsoft's current strategy to support as many platforms as possible. Recently, the company announced plans to bring its Cortana digital assistant to the iPhone, and earlier today, it confirmed it had acquired the Wunderlist app, which supports iOS.
